MEET JIM ECHOLS, FOUNDER & CEO
Born in 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee, Jim grew up during the Jim Crow era in a modest, faith-centered family. His early experiences, shaped by a deeply segregated society, instilled in him a profound interest in human relationships and diversity.
After serving as a decorated U.S. Army leader, Jim dedicated his career to advancing workforce development through public service roles. In 2017, he founded Renaissance Community & Public Relations, LLC, to bring a practical, commonsense approach to leadership, team-building, and workforce reintegration.
